Description

In the foyer of the Town Hall. An ornate memorial constructed of Queensland Maple comprising four WW1 centre panels and one WW2 panel, the far left panel with later added WWI names is above a door to an office. Originally the memorial contained additional panels with the names those who served during WW2 but was later removed, leaving only the panel with the names of those who fell. The boards contain the 614 names of those who served in WW1 and the 119 who fell and 87 who fell during WW2.

PECULIARITIES/DAMAGE: It appears by the construction, that the board has been modified to be incorporated in its current location, as the top structure has been clipped at both ends. Further investigation required.
