A grey polished granite obelisk surmounted on a three-tier granite pedestal and a concrete slab, the lower tier is rough-cut. In front of the monument is a WW2 monument. Details are in white, except for crossed rifles at the bottom of the obelisk in gold leaf and a gold leaf wreath on the centre tier
