Description | Spicer Memorial Church. A stained glass window in the nave depicting a knight in armour holding an inverted sword and a shield, at the base is a glass dedication plaque. Mrs. W Davies who unveiled the window is the mother of George Francis DAVIES Service No 58 and John Newton DAVIES Service No. 841 who both died in the Great War. She also had two other sons serve - William Lawrence DAVIES M.C. Service No. 5613 and Howard Bruce DAVIES Service No. 4694 |
