Description

Brick building with large colums at entrance

Tree plaques relocated to wall

Trundle Memorial Hall was purpose-built by a returned veteran in 1927 specifically for the sub-branch when A.E. Little donated $40,000 pounds, over time it has been slow on the upkeep but it is run and privately owned by the town committee.

He also gave the sub-branch another $40,000 that went into an intreast-bearing account we still have today.

We have inside the Yarrabandai District WWII Roll of Honor, Trundle Great War Roll of Honor, Bruie Plains WWI Roll of Honor, Trundle War Memorial School of Arts, Trundle Memorial Trees (that had the plaques on the wall next to each tree but were refurbished when the trees died and we have a current plan with the council to replant and dedicate the new trees) and the Trundle Memorial Hedge but is in need of repair and replanting).

That the hall is the focal point for holding services including ANZAC and Remembrance Day activities annually.
