| Description | The shelter was created in 1997 after realising that the identities and lives of the men on the Dangarsleigh War Memorial were largely unknown. The Dangarsleigh War Memorial Shelter was found destroyed by fire on the morning of December 23, 2011. The remains of a burnt out car which had been driven under the structure were close by. The Dangarsleigh Local Area Committee rebuilt the shelter. |
