"HOWGATE. — Died of gunshot wounds on the 30th September, at 17th Casualty Clearing Station, France, Private Albert Edward Wustemann Howgate, late of 35 Albert street, East Melbourne, dearly beloved husband of Alice, and loving father of Alison, aged 33 years.
Duty nobly done.
