Eric Hartnett Crisp lied about his age on both ocassions when enlisting in the Army.
In WW1 he gained a year by claiming to be 18 years old and born in 1898. Similarly, Eric creatively lost two years when enlisting in WW2, stating he was born in 1902.
Eric Hartnett Crisp was in fact born on the 05 December 1899 at Albury, New South Wales to parents William Edward Crisp and Nellie Hughes [NSW Birth Reg:803/1900 Albury]
