Add my storyBiography contributed by Alexia Romano
Before enlisting in war in 1914, William Thomas Adams served three years in the senior cadets at Broken Hill, employed as an engineer.
Adams was deployed to the Gallipoli campaign and recieved a bullet wound to the head, killing him, on the third day of conflict. Adams' brother, who also served at Gallipoli, wrote in a letter to his parents stating, "Bill died a hero fighting for his country so be consoled with the knowledge that your first son died bravely in honour and glory to save his family and countrymen from an approaching enemy."
Adams's place of memorial is Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli Peninsula, Canakkale Province, Turkey.
Son of William Kerce ADAMS and Lizzie nee SCHOFIELD
Brother of Hugh George Adams
