Corporal Norman Maxwell Juckert (Service No:VX133927) first enlisted in the ACMF (Private; Service No:V280062) on 14 November 1941 and served with 5 Infantry Battalion. He served in the AIF with 2 Provost Coy in Darwin (September 1943 - 10 November 1944, and was attached to NT LoC Provost Coy (AIF) when he was Discharged on 29 November 1945.

Born in 1921 in St Kilda Victoria, Norman was the youngest of two children of George (Carl) Louis Juckert (b1884 in Melbourne, Victoria) and Ethel May Storey (b1895 in Wycheproof, Victoria). Carl (an Instrument Maker) and Ethel married in 1916 in Melbourne, Victoria and settled at St Kilda where Carl worked as a Mechanic.

Norman was a Potter in Melbourne Victoria prior to enlisting in the Army, and was a Salesman in Melbourne in 1946 when he married Isabel Jane Hardy (b1924 in Wagin, WA). Norman and Isabel settled in Melbourne, Victoria where Norman worked as a Salesman and Cleaner. Isabel died in 1987 and Norman in 2011.
