Third son of John and Helen BARKLEY (nee MacALLISTER)

After serving almost four years Ronald was wounded in action and returned to Australia in 1919.  He worked in the Bairnsdale area as a labourer and cab driver.

In 1929 he married Hazel Florence and they moved to Melbourne.  Ronald died at Ferntree Gully in 1968 age 80 years.
