From Sue Guinan: Tasmania – The Great War 1914-1918
Gnr Rupert SARGISON,
19 year old plumber from Newtown the son of Samuel Bacon and Jane Louisa Sargison (nee Randall) he served with the 1st Division Artillery Headquarters and returned to Australia 19th April 1919. He died in Hobart 12th August 1970.
