Arrived in Australia aged 29 years.
Son of Frederick and Emily Maria Boys; brother of Annetta Louise Cozen of 'Felixstowe', The Boulevarde, Strathfield, NSW, Winifred May Boys and Percival Boys of 1 Cobden Street, Auckland, NZ.
On 15 June 1921 Wifred's brother Percival Boys wrote from New Zealnd to Base Records stating that he was happy for his sister, Annetta to receive Wilfred's medal
