Frank (Francis Isadore) was the eldest child of Charles Thomas Errington (b1880 in Vaughan, Victoria) and Annie Theresa Day (b1885 in Campbelltown, NSW). Charles - a Labourer - and Annie married in 1923 in Thirroul, NSW where they settled and raised their family.

Frank was a Miner when he enlisted in the ACMF in March 1944. He was a Private (Service No:N466793) attached to 4 Infantry Taining Battalion when he was Discharged in January 1945.

Frank was working as a Miner in 1949 when he married Irene Joan Beadon (b1927 in Woonona, NSW) in Bulli, NSW - Joan was working as a Winder. Frank and Irene settled in Thirroul where Frank was a Mine Worker. Irene died in 1999 and Frank in 2013.
