Many residents will learn with regret of the death at Mosmon (Sydney) of Mr. Guy Ladbury, who for many years was a well-known and very highly respected resident of West Scottsdale. Deceased was bout 64 years of age, and was a son of the late Mr. R. G. Ladbury, one of the pioneer settlers of the district. The late Mr. Ladbury took a keen interest in Church work, both at Scottsdale and Mosman, and for many years was a lay reader. He enlisted at Scottsdale during the war, and some time after his return went to New South Wales. For nearly two years he has been seriously ill, and though the end was inevitable, it came sooner than expected. He leaves a widow and two sisters — Mrs. N. S. Bostock and Miss Ladbury, both of West Scottsdale. The burial took place at Mosman.
