The sixth of eight children, Frank Jnr was born in Perth WA in 1916. His father - Francis (Frank) John Abbott Eastlake (b1878 in Stawell, Victoria) and mother - Jensine Kirstine Emilie Jensen (b1882 in Sollested, Denmark) married in 1907 in Day Dawn, WA. By 1917 Frank (a Labourer) and Jensine had settled in Perth WA where Frank Snr was an Engine Driver and Works Foreman.
Frank Jnr was working as an Assistant Storeman in Perth WA when he enlisted in the ACMF in 1940 (Driver; Service No:W15194) and was attached to 11/16 Battalion VDC when he Discharged to enlist in the AIF in September 1941. Frank served with 143 GMT Coy (Corporal; Service No:WX16544) and was attached to 5 Australian Guard Compound when he was Discharged in November 1945.
In 1943 Frank married Betty Yvonne Anderson (b1921 in Southwark, London) - Betty arrived in Fremantle WA with her parents and brother in 1926 on board the Berrima. Frank and Betty settled in Victoria Park, Perth WA where Frank worked as a Painter. He died in 2002 and Betty in 2010.
