Sydney Oswald Clark
Sydney (Syd) is my grandfather. After his discharge from the army in 1946 he married Winnifred (Wyn) Clark in 1947. They lived in Beaufort, where Syd worked for the PMG, and they had two children. Later in life Wyn and Syd moved to Sebastopol in Ballarat to be closer to family. Syd died in 2010 from dementia associated with Parkinson's disease. He was a loving and kind family man who enjoyed football and sports, and is fondly remembered by his family.
