He was 27. He enlisted Perth, Western Australia. Son of George Edward and Agnes Batchelor of 10, Stanhope Road, Littlehampton.
Arrived in Australia 20th November 1912. Friend of Private Alfred Peachey also of Littlehampton and who is also honoured on the Littlehampton War Memorial who died 10th August 1918.
