Served in 9th Brigade Australian Field Artillery as a driver.
Died of sickness in London aged 34

News has just been received of the death in Tidworth Military Hospital, England, of Henry Vincent Bell Cory, eldest son of Mr. Henry Cory, of Vermont. The cause of death was a severe attack of pneumonia. "Vin." Cory, as he was known to his friends, was born at Tocal station, in the Central West, but spent most of his boyhood in Warwick. Prior to the outbreak of war he was connected with a number of Western stations, including Mt. Hutton. He enlisted at Roma, and left for Salisbury Plains about eight months ago. His younger brother, "Monty" Cory, went through the Gallipoli campaign, won a commission, and is now in France.
