Son of Charles and Elizabeth Beecham. Husband of Julia Jane Beecham of Collingwood Road, Newport, Victoria previously Robinson Street, Long Gully, Bendigo. Father of Eunice Beecham, Thelma Beecham, Aubrey Beecham, Frederick Beecham, Andrew Beecham and Charles Beecham
1 May 1916 - suffering from Laryngitis caused by T.B. and chronic Bronchitis. Had lost over a stone in weight in the previous month
4 May 1917 - returned to Australia on board H.M.A.T. Themistocles for discharge due to Tuberculosis
