IN MEMORIAM - newspaper notices from his family over the years

CUTHBERTSON - In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Charles Cuthbertson, who died of wounds in France on October 8, 1918

"There is a link death cannot sever, Love & remembrance last forever"

"No matter how we pray, dear brother, no matter how we call

There is nothing left to answer, but your photo on the wall"

"We picture your safe returning, and longed to clasp your hand,

but God postpoed our meeting, Twill be in a better land"

"He was one of the best that God could find,

A loving son and faithful friend

Too far away frm your grave to see

But not too far to think of thee,

In a grave in France you are laid to rest

It was hard to hear, but Gods will is best

He sleeps beside his comrades ,

In hallowed graves unknown

But his name is written in letters of love

In the hearts he left at home"

-----------

"Days of sadness still come o'er us, hidden tears will sometimes flow

Memory keeps our dear one with us, though he died ten years ago"

"None know the depth of our regret, but we remember when others forget"

"Just a sad and sweet remembrance, just a memory fond and true,

Just a token of affection, dearest son & brother, for you"
