Private Albert Ernest Rodda (Service No:V367466) served in the ACMF with 11 Battalion (Vic) VDC from 15 March 1942 to 20 September 1945.

Albert was born at Musk Creek via Daylesford, Victoria in 1891, eighth of fourteen children of John Rodda (b1860 in Creswick, Victoria) and Annie James Botheras (b1860 in Bendigo, Victoria). John (a Farmer in Daylesford) and Annie married in 1880 in Daylesford and settled at Musk Creek via Daylesford where they raised their family and John was a Farmer. Both John and Annie died in 1945.

Albert was a Farmer in Thorpdale, and in 1923 in Krambruk, Apollo Bay he married Elizabeth Grace Perkins (b1890 in Krambrook, Apoll Bay, Victoria) - Elizabeth worked on the family Dairy Farm in Krambrook. Albert and Elizabeth settled in Thorpdale, where Albert was a Farmer and later a Truck Driver, before retiring to Apollo Bay, where Elizabeth died in 1955. Albert died in Sale (Gippsland Hospital) in 1959.
