Private Francis Christopher McCausland Crisp (Service No:V361376) enlisted in the ACMF on 25 May 1942. He was attached to 20 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps when he was Discharged on 1 October 1945.
Born in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria in 1909, Mac was the eldest of three children of Anthony George Crisp (b1873 in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria) and Harriet Theodosia Crook (b1885 in St Arnaud, Victoria). Anthony (a Printer) and Harriet married in 1907 in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria where they settled and raised their family.
Mac worked as a Journalist and in 1933 he married Ivy Robina May Peacock (b1905 in Daylsford, Victoria) - Ivy was working in Melbourne as a Telephonist). Mac and Ivy settled in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria where Mac was a Journalist and Newspaper Proprietor. Ivy died in 1970 and Mac in 1973.
