Pte. Atkin who formerly resided at Euston Road Post Office, emigrated to Leederville Australia some years ago with his Parents in Anxious to serve his King and to safeguard the Mother Country he volunteered for the Army as soon as he was 18 and joined the Australian Imperial Forces. Prior to his enlistment he worked for the Mines department and was presented with a handsome smokers set before he left.
