Son of George Andrew Bartram, of Gould St., Frankston, Victoria, Australia, and the late Isabella Bartram. Native of Richmond, Victoria. Brother of 2304 Arnold Roy Bartram, 60th Bn, died of wounds received at Bullecourt, France, 13 May 1917; 6955 Lance Corporal Reginald Percy Bartram, 37th Bn, killed in action, Passchendaele, Belgium, 4 October 1917; Cyril George Bartram, returned to Australia;
