 His sister Kathleen Adele Brennan was also a casualty of the Great War-she died in England whilst serving as a VAD Nurse.

His brother, Lieutenant John Clive Brennan,  of the 4th Bn, was wounded in France but survived the war, returning to Australia, 20 June 1919.
