Son of John and Ida ANDERSON, 66 Gipps Street, Drummoyne, NSW
William served in Egypt, Gallipoli at the Landing, was wounded and returned to duty until the Evacuation, and France. He was wounded on a second occasion in France on 17 August 1918 resulting in the loss of a leg. He returned to Australia in January 1919.
