Corporal Geoffrey Paget Roydhouse (Service No:WX32509) initially enlisted in the ACMF (Private; Service No:W13573) on 30 September 1941 and served with 3 Australian Corps Troops Supply Coy and 121 Motor Transport Reserve Coy until 13 September 1942. Corporal Roydhouse was attached to 138 General Transport Coy at Discharge on 3 December 1945.

Born in 1920 in Perth WA, Geoff was the youngest of two children of Alan Roydhouse (b1894 in Adelaide, South Australia) and Nellie Morris (b1895 in Petersham, NSW). Alan was a Civil Servant in Perth WA when he enlisted in the AIF in 1916, and he and Nellie married in Perth in 1917. Following his Discharge, Alan and Nellie lived in Perth where Alan was a Civil Servant. In the early 1920s Alan was a Farmer in Waroona and then in Harvey in the 1930s - Nellie remained in Fremantle and Perth with their sons. Alan enlisted in the ACMF in 1940 (Private; Service No:W26199) and Discharged later that year, moving to Melbourne. He and Nellie Divorced in 1945 and in 1946 Alan remarried in Melbourne - Nellie remained in Perth.

Geoff was a Salesman and Shop Assistant in Perth prior to his enlistment in the Army, and following his Discharge in 1945, returned to Perth where he worked as a Sales Assistant and Store Manager. In 1955 Geoff married Edith (b1926) and the couple settled at Yokine and later in Tuart Hill where Geoff was a Store Manager and Sales Representative. Edith died in 2007 and Geoff in 2009.
