Egbert Shoobridge CUSSEN was born in Casterton in Victoria on 31st March, 1888
His parents were John Finn CUSSEN & Elizabeth Jane SHOOBRIDGE who married in Victoria in 1881
He married Sybil MATTHEWS in Sydney in 1913 - two children John Finn Bernard & Margaret Augusta

His son John Finn Bernard CUSSEN (SN NX20082) served during WW2 as a Lance Sergeant in the 3rd Australian Army Rehab Unit and was discharged in 1945
