Bert Ferris, in brief
Bert was active in the Light horse probably in Armidale NSW, prior to WW2. He served in Syria, then at Alamein with the 9th Div, returned and retrained in Nth Qld, then served in Milne bay New Guinea. Illness (malaria etc) caused his return to depot service in Forbes NSW in 1944.
