Maurice Franklin Magee "Frank "
Born in Mascot 1916 during WW1. Frank went to school in Redfern. Competing in Boxing Rugby League and Australian Rules. He left school at 13 . He was a hard working man during the depression years . When WW2 started he joined the Army to defend Australia against the Japanese. Frank drove trucks and rode motorcycles in the Army . He served in the South Pacific. New Guinea, Borneo, and all the Islands. After the war he married Edna who was waiting for him to return. They were happily married until he passed away in 1994 aged 77. A Great man. Lest We Forget.
