Daughter of J.F. & F.C. Fowler, 3 Wavell Road, Nedlands, WA
Myrlte trained at the Children's Hopsitla Perth, completing her training on 12th August 1929. She then worked for 5 years at Governement hospitals at Albany, Wagin, Collie, Narrogin and Perth. Was in Private Hospitals and Private nursing for 5 years and the a Sister at the Childrens Hospital Perth for 2 years.
