Son of Arthur Robert Uglow and Agnes Uglow nee Pringle of 'Woodlands', Bell Street, Middle Brighton, Victoria formerly of New Zealand.

Brother of Gerald Raymond Uglow who returned to Australia on 27 September 1919 having served with the 4th Division Train

Commenced return to Australia on 8 September 1919 aboard HT Raranga disembarking on 27 October 1919.
