Corporal Harold Henry Davis (Service No:4144) enlisted in the RAAF as an ACI (mustered Coppersmith) attached to 14 Sqaudron. He was promoted to LAC with 14 Squadron on 25 May 1942 and was a Corporal attached to 87 Squadron when he was Discharged on 16 November 1949.

The eldest of six children of Henry Harold Davis (b1895 at Jarrahdale, WA) and Sylvia Hazel Gladys Doddemeade (b1894 in Findon, South Australia), Harold was born in 1916 in Perth, WA. Henry (a Brickmaker) and Sylvia married in 1915 in Perth, WA where they settled and raised their family and Henry worked as a Brickmaker and Truckdriver.

Harold worked as a Sheetmetal Worker/Coppersmith in Perth and in 1941 married Ida Sophia Brooker (b1918 in Fremantle, WA). Following his Discharge from the RAAF, Harold and Ida lived in Perth and at City Beach where Harold was a Sheetmetal Worker. Harold died in 1975 and Ida in 1995.
