HIS DUTY FEARLESSLY AND NOBLY DONE. EVER REMEMBERED
Advice has been received that Flying Officer Irwin Worth has been killed in action iu air operations over Europe. Deceased was a member of a Lancaster bomber which was detailed for the big raid on Stuttgart on February 21st. Whilst over the target his plane collided with another and the pilot made a desperate effort to get the disabled machine home, but fate was against them and the plane crashed 300 yards off the home base. Flying Officer Worth was a brother and brother in law of Mr. and Mrs, Worth of Porongorups, and we extend sympathy to them in their sad loss. "He gave his life that ethers might live"
