Son of Arthur James Doyle, and of Edith Margaret Doyle, of Prospect, South Australia.
A.B. Edward Francis Doyle, 19, younger son of Mrs. E M. Doyle, of d'Erlanger avenue, Prospect, and the late Mr. A. J. Doyle, joined the R.A.N shortly before the out-break of war. He went to Walkerville School. He was a member of the Gilberton Swimming Club, and won trophies.
