REGINALD GIBSON FAITHFULL was born on 4th October, 1889, at Sydney, New South Wales, the son of Dr. Robert Lionel Faithfull (a Director of the Bank of New South Wales), and Mrs. Jessie Alice Faithfull. He was educated at King's College, Goulburn.
He left Sydney for England in March, 1915, and enlisted in the following June.
He received a commission as second lieutenant in the 14th Reserve Cavalry and was attached to the Machine Gun Squadron. He was promoted to lieutenant in November, 1917.
Lieutenant Reginald Faithfull was awarded the Military Cross, and was also mentioned in despatches for distinguished service

OBITUARY
MB. R. G. FAITHFULL
The death occurred at Lewisham Private Hospital, Wagga, on Saturday morning after a very short illness of Mr Reginald Gibson Faithfull of Wandoo Station, via Wagga, at the age of 62 years. Mr. Faithfull was one of the best known graziers in Riverina. He is survived by his widow, of Wandoo Station. The funeral will take place this morning. Interment being in the Springfield Station private cemetery, near Goulburn. The funeral arrangements are being conducted by J. C. McDonald, of Wagga.
