Biography contributed

Charles John Davis was born in Sydney in 1926. Better known as 'Jack', he embarked on a life marked by dedication and love. In February 1952 Jack officially changed his religion from Roman Catholic to Church of England, and married Constance Irene Woolsey in 1952 at Sydney, NSW. The couple was blessed with two daughters, Robbyn (1953) and Susan (1955). However by September 1957, their paths diverged, leading to their separation and Constance filed for divorce while Jack was stationed in Sale, VIC, and Constance, along with their daughters, resided in Beachmere, QLD.Despite the challenges, Jack's life took a new turn in Sale, VIC, where he met Pamela Dorita Kerin. Their relationship blossomed despite Jack's subsequent postings to Darwin and Malaysia. They planned to marry in 1958 at Penang, Malaysia, with the Unit Padre officiating, but the process was delayed due to the pending finalisation of Jack's divorce (still pending by Dec 1959).
Jack and Pam's love resulted in the birth of two daughters: Wendy Julia (1961) and Sarah (1964). In 1966, after 20 years of commendable service, Jack decided to request discharge from the RAAF. Jack passed away in 2010, his journey reflects a man's dedication to his country, and the enduring power of love and family.
