Pte Bertie Alexander BEAUMONT

Born 8th October 1895 Ulverstone Tasmania to Alexander and Hannah Maria Beaumont (nee Sushames) a builder who departed Fremantle 26th June 1915 on board “HMAT Wandilla” with the 12th Infantry Battalion.

He was serving with the 52nd Battalion when he died 17th January 1917 from wounds received at Flers France (artillery fire) and is buried in the Bulls Road Cemetery, Flers, France
