John Howard Hastings NAPIER was born in Perth Western Australia on 18th April, 1894

His parents were Clive Hastings NAPIER & Florence Ellen HURST

He married Dorothea Alice WEST in St Matthews Church in Guildford, WA in 1918

He served during WW1 with the 3rd Field Company Engineers & was discharged on 19th May, 1916 - he enlisted on 28th September, 1939 in the Citizens Military Forces and was discharged on 27th May, 1944 - Rank Lieut Colonel with the Chief Engineer Works

John died on 2nd September, 1987 in Nedlands, WA & was cremated at Karrakatta Crematorium

His brother Kenneth Cargill NAPIER (SN 56377) also served during WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919 & served during WW2 (SN W34393) - discharged 1946
