Son of John Verran and Catherine Verran nee Trembath of Moonta Mines, SA.
Commenced return to Australia on 23 June 1919 aboard HT Orita as nursing staff disembarking on 6 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide.
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
