3/12/1914      appointed to 1st reinforcements, 3rd Light Horse Regiment
                     at  Broadmeadows Camp

21/12/1914    embarked from Newcastle, NSW, onboard HMAT A36 Boonah

9/5/1915 proceeded to join Mediteranean Expeditionary Forces, GALLIPOLI

15/6/1915      rejoined regiment from hospital, bronchitis - Monash Valley

12/11/1915    sick to hospital

                     embarked onbard Esquibo from Malta to Egypt

24/11/1915    disembarked Malta, ex Gsaleka

27/3/1916      admitted to 3rd Australian General Hospital - relapsing fever

19/4/1916      returned to duty, ex hospital

14/10/1916    transferred to Field Engineers, Kantara, Egypt

8/3/1917        transferred as Trooper to 3rd Light Horse Regiment.

21/9/1917      taken on strength, ex hospital, 1st Light Horse, Moascar

4/10/1917      marched in ex 1st Light Horse Train Regiment and taken on strength

15/11/1918     returned to Australia for 1914 special leave
                      embarked onboard HT Port Darwin, ex Suez, Egypt
25/12/1918     disembarked into Australia

23/2/1919       discharged from service
