Old Soldier Passes.
MR. DAN RADFORD.
On May 1st., Mr Dan Radford, an army veteran of the Egyptian Campaign of 1882-85, died suddenly at his residence at the Pingelly Coffee Palace, Ffhgelly at the age of sixty-four. The remains were  interred in the Anglican portion of the Pingelly Cemetary, Mr F. Atkins reading the service. The pall-bearers were Messrs. F. G. Markwell, J. Elliott, G. Lobban and M. Pillion. The funeral arrangements  were conducted by Mr H. Hatcher. The Military Forces were represented by Lieut. C. W. Mickle, of the 10th. Light Horse, in place of Brigadier-General C. H. Jess, C.M.G., C.B.E., D.S.O., Commander of Field  Troops, W.A., who was unable to be present. Sincere sympathy is felt for Mrs Radford and her family in their loss.

DEATH.
RADFORD.—On May 1, 1928, at Pingelly, Dan, late Remount Unit. A.I.F., and Egyptian Campaign 1882-85, loving husband of E. Radford, and fond father of Frank, (late A.I.F.) and Evelene (Mis R. E.  Riley). May,daughter-inlaw, Richard Riley (late A.I.F.), son-inlaw, grandfather of Evelene, Muriel, Frank, Jean, Betty and Phyllis: age 64 years.
