Frederick’s two brothers were also serving. William Richard Beckett service #5349 and John Gerald Beckett service #14982. William was killed with a gunshot wound to his back, side, head and shoulder, he died of the wounds at the 38 Casualty Clearing Station, Flers, France on 13 November 1916. He is buried at Heilly Station Cemetery, Plot V, Row E, Grave 21
Frederick was one of ten children to William and Annie.
