Son of Daniel Hussey and Elizabeth Hussey nee Bidmade of Penshurst, Victoria.
Brother of Daniel William Hussey who returned to Australia on 25 July 1919 having served with the 13th Light Horse Regiment and Percy George Hussey who returned to Australia on 5 June 1916 having served with the 4th Light Horse Regiment
