Wilfred RALSTON was born at Oaklands Junction during 1896.
His father, David John Ralston worked at the Oaklands Hunt Club and it is assumed that Wilfred also worked there as a groom.
Wilfred joined the AIF on 11/9/1915 and left Australia on 28/1/1916 aboard the HMAT Themistocles as part of the Australian artillery.
Wilfred died of disease (Lobar Pneumonia) at the 61st Casualty Clearing Station on 12/7/1918.
He is buried at the Vignacourt British Cemetery, near Amiens.
