The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017 - refer pages 66 and 261. Prior to the war he was a clerk of Wallangarra Qld. He enlisted 13 Aug 15, aged 24 years and posted to 9 Battalion. He was awarded a MM during the war. He returned to Australia 18 Jan 1919.
