Also served with 2nd Battalion Australian Commonwealth Horse. Enlisted AIF 17 August 1914, Driver Australian Army Service Corps, promoted Corporal, awarded Military Medal for bravery in the field 30 September 1917, returned to Australia 23 September 1918.
