William Mellhinch ANDERSON was born in North Sydney, NSW in 1892
His parents were Hugh ANDERSON & Elizabeth Ann MILHENCH who married in Sydney in 1889 (spelling of Mothers maiden name as per BDM & Ancestry records)
He enlisted in Liverpool on 19th January, 1915 and embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Ceramic with the 1st Infantry Battalion, 5th reinforcements
William died of wounds in Belgium on 6th October, 1917
