Son of Lawrence R Jiggins, Hemming Street, Dandenong, Victoria
After the armistice Private Jiggins left for England at the end of March 1919, and attended a course of study at King's College, London University till the end of the year.
He returned to Australia on the Transport 'Friedrichsruhe' in March 1920.
Prior to enlisting he was teaching at School no 3173 Strath Creek Vic.
He changed his name by deed poll, 16 March 1920, to be Raymond Tennyson ALLAN.
