Harlequin was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1890
His parents were Frederick & Marian HUXTABLE
He married Florence Elizabeth PEACOCK in Wagga Wagga, NSW in 1915 - no known children
He enlisted in Holdsworthy, NSW on 24th August, 1915 and embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Aeneas on 20th December, 1915 with the 13th Infantry Battalion, 13th reinforcements - he was later transferred to the 4th Machine Gun Corp & was promoted to Lance Corporal on 4th May, 1918
Harlequin died from gun shot wounds to his right shoulder on 10th August, 1918 in the 14th General Hospital in Wimeleux in France and is buried in the Terlincthun British Cemetery
